Qualifications:

Knowledge of HVACR products and their uses is preferred but not required

Positive attitude and ability to work well with others is required

Strong verbal and written communication skills along with basic math skills are required

Must be flexible with changes in work schedule, willing to work overtime when needed and able to take weekend and afterhours rotations as needed.

Must agree to and be willing to attend ongoing company provided education classes, which are often conducted afterhours, both on-site and off-site

Must be able to handle a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance

Must be able to handle intermittent periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing, bending, squatting

Drivers must hold a minimum class B CDL with air brakes and hazmat endorsement.

Driver - Peoria, IL
ILLCO Inc, a family owned HVACR distribution company, is seeking applicants for a driver position in Peoria, IL. ILLCO drivers make deliveries to customer facilities and job sites and are expected to be ambassadors for ILLCO while in the field. Drivers are responsible for the cleanliness and safety of their delivery vehicles and are expected to perform other duties to assist in the operation of the branch at the discretion of their supervisors. Qualifications

Two years of CDL driving experience. Accident and violation free driving record is preferred.

Must be able to read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions

Must be able to operate a standard manual shift transmission

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance

Must be able to handle intermittent periods of physical exertion (such as walking, standing, bending, squatting)

Must be physically able to climb in and out of the truck and truck bed multiple times per day
-
If assigned to a crane truck, must be able to safely operate the crane with or without a remote after training.
Required licenses/Certifications

Must hold a minimum class B CDL license with air brake endorsement

Must have hazardous materials endorsement

Must maintain proper medical authorization to operate a commercial motor vehicle

ILLCO counter sales employees assist walk-in and telephone customers, support the outside sales department and complete other tasks as necessary to keep the branch running smoothly.
